Finally riding a big boys bike
I assume this is a 1961 Jaguar with a M0 (12/60)serial number. It is in excellent condition, check the pictures carefully to see that. The last picture is of a hard to clean area of the frame at the bottom bracket and the inside of the chain guard to show what it before cleaning and also the horn assembly is in original condition I believe as when I took the tank apart, there is still some bits of battery acid on the bottom of the tank from removing the old batteries. It has Schwinn S-7 rims and BF Goodrich 26 x 1 3/4 tires and a Schwinn approved 3 speed rear hub. You will go a long way to find one this nice. The horn does work, I put batteries in and it worked immediately with no problem. I had a question on how the 3 speed worked. I couldn't get the shifter chain to move at first due to hardened lube so I sprayed it with PB Blaster which loosened it quickly. I cleaned the "pin" attached to the chain, added several drops of oil via the hub oiler and after some playing around, it shifts in all 3 gears.
