I live for the CABE
1965 BA = Feb.‘65 J39-6 (short frame) Flam Lime Deluxe.
Original paint, screens, decals and factory dated tires.
This bike has been stored inside for decades out of the sun.
Rust on the chrome, couple small blemishes in the seat and aged white wall tires.
Paint is very nice along with screens.
Still has cobwebs, dust and debris everywhere.
A few day 2 modifications installed early includes front reflector, small rear reflector, red reflective tape on seat strut and handlebars. Also the handlebar is a 1966 pull down fastback style.
Everything is lowered (high loop strut, seat post, stem) in addition to the bars for an easy reach of a small kid to ride.
Very cool Dealer decal and ‘65 bike license.
1965 was the last year of the following,
1) Flamboyant Lime
2) Reverse screen
3) White seats
4) High Loop seat strut
5) Short tail rear fender
Right hand side.
