Sold DoND: Uncommon Lobdell 5/8" seat post plus hardware

Presented here for auction is an uncommon Lobdell 5/8" seat post plus associated hardware. Seat post measures 8" long with a 5/8" diameter post found commonly on prewar Westfield, CWC, and Mercury bicycles. Chrome is nice with spots of wear. Both bolts and associated nuts and washers are present and in place. The post appears to have been straightened at one point, as there is the slightest wiggle about two-thirds of the way up. I've made no attempt at polishing, so you'll be free to clean it up further or leave it as is to show some age. Here's the perfect opportunity to grab an uncommon seat post in a desirable diameter. I found more bike stuff in my dad's garage. I appreciate all the past purchases from members and will list it here first. I have an unusual seat. I've been told possibly for a Hiawatha? It's a project seat but if you need one this might be your lucky day..pictures tell the story..needs lots of TLC...$25 shipping if a deal is made

I actually sold a replacement pan for that exact seat yesterday, and, yes, this post would work for that seat and all Lobdell saddles that require this type of post.
