New Mexico Brant
Riding a '38 Autocycle Deluxe
Very nice original 1930’s Monark Silver King Wingbar. Good solid frame, typical scratches and wear as expected, missing one of the original frame bolts at the rear drop-out, original SK Wingbar blue painted fenders (with condition issues: significant paint loss, dents, metal tear on the lower rear end on the front fender, some fugitive white paint on the front, etc). Also has original aluminum bars, OG rear fender light (lens has scratches and is missing the internal switch), Torrington deco stem, OG butterfly stand (needs new spring to stay up when riding), original rear rack (stress crack at the top of one of the aluminum rack side brace legs), killer chrome chassis Troxel saddle (as equipped on many of the jobber distributed Wingbars), very nice OG triple step rims with much of their chrome plating present (do have some edge rust and peppering-see images), Musselman air-cooled front hub, Cromwell matched period tires (hold air, they do have side crazing, excellent for display but would swap out if you want the bike as a rider), and a great pair of original Torrington 10 pedals. The bicycle presents beautifully as a patina example as nothing has been done to it. An excellent candidate for restoration as well if you wish a different presentation. $3,200 plus shipping. Please PM to purchase. Free delivery to Copake and AA if these swaps happen with non-refundable deposit of $1,000-balance due at the swap. Payment plan can also be offered if a non-refundable deposit is made at time of purchase. Thank you for your consideration. Sold pending payment-- Thank you!
