If you've got a big-enough pants pocket, try the old clock-repair trick for freeing up a bound-up clock mechanism that's been wound tight: drop it in your pocket and just carry it around throughout your day. Body heat plus the activity of motion when walking can be enough to allow the spring coils to get themselves un-stuck from each other and start ticking. Once it gets going, just let it run until it's completely un-wound again. Depending on the clock movement, this will be either 30 hours for a clock that is wound daily or 8 days for a clock that's wound once a week.
