Look Ma, No Hands!
Hello guys, I would like to know if anyone can tell what bike I have. I bought this bike at a estate sell, and I was told it was a 1946 JC Higgins and was giving these ads. So, after tearing the bike down for cleaning I notice some of the parts didn't look right, like the rear brake hub is a Morrow with a date code F4 that would put it at 1936 4th quarter. As far as I know that chainguard was used only for one year and that was used on a Monark, and Roadmaster. The bike did not come with a head badge, and the distance between the two mounding holes is three inches. I cannot read the serial number the paint is too thick. Thanks.
