Thanks, found everything in a garage clean out. Place was untouched since the 70's and contained a 1923 touring car project as well. Pretty cool.

Comparing the repainted frame to the rusty frame with badge, and the speed at which each sold, might not be the fair comparison; perhaps consider comparable Davis Dayton badges offered separately?

Who is to really say, too-high or too-low; but perhaps the frame with the badge might have been the better value of those two?

Sold the original (rusty) dayton frame with proper headbadge for $450. It sold quickly as well.
