I’m going to guess early postwar Huffman build. Skiptooth doesn’t mean prewar, they were used into the early-mid 50s as standard equipment.

1947 Huffman. I believe seat, stem, and bars are wrong.

Can someone please answer a few Qs? What make and model of this bike and the year by the serial number and how to decode it also if all the parts are original ? I know it's prewar by the skip tooth sprockets. Thanks so much for your time with this have a good day all
