Schwinn Spitfire 1979 Original everything

This is an original Chicago Schwinn from 1979 with all the correct original pieces including the original tires made in USA and the original paint. It rides perfect and needs nothing.

It has no rust and all the chrome is excellent. This one is a "heavy weight" Schwinn which means it has 2.125 X 26" wheels.

I have owned this bike since 1991. It has always been stored indoors and ridden sparsely. It has the right amount of patina.

I was lucky to find it then and I have not seen one of these single speed coaster Spitfires in this condition since. I priced the bike based on what I see out there. Please call/write wtih your questions. 669-242-0480

Curious what month, I don’t see the build date that’s supposed to be on the badge and screws don’t seem to match so was the badge changed at some time?, frame #’s?

The badge in 1979 would have had a 4 digit code stamped on it. Yours does not, the badge is not original to the bike. That being said it is a really nice bike, good luck
