@AS-1 I used the Way Back Machine (https://web.archive.org/) to access Tom Findley's old site and found the Bendix brochure shown below (it seems he may have scanned the first two pages at a lower resolution). Looks like the yellow and blue band 2-speed automatics were produced as early as January 1965, and the red band 2-speed automatics were produced from 1960-1964.
