Unique Chromed Bell for sale $40 shipped conus
came from a 1988 Bianchi Grupo FinInvest Christmas / premium limited edition bike
The bike is gone , bell is for sale.
The bike was a pastel yellow Bianchi branded dutch style City Bike equipped with virtually every accessory known to man : full chain guard, wheel skirts, lights, keyed integrated frame lock, front and rear carriers etc etc and this chrome Bell
Bell is inscribed " Boun Natale 1988 "
(see pic)
My understanding is that : During the period that Eduardo Bianchi cycle manufacturing company changed hands in a series of corporate M & A / conglomerate shuffles : it was at one point controlled by several (Burlesconi family associated) multi industry holding companies. Grupo Fininvest was one such entity that held stake in Bianchi cycles , before it was later fully integrated absorbed into CylcesEurope.
Apparently, the bike a this bell came from was some sort of Holiday business gift given to executive types who were VIP or represented important relationships of the company business relationships
In any event , i havent found much info on the above to verify , but the bell certainly a very interesting piece of history in the evolution of cycling industry in post consolidation modern era .
