I've searched and searched, thinking my quest would be easy. Boy, was I dumb.
When the Schwinnsters decided to put caliper brakes on the 1954/1955 Jaguars, they must have thought they were being very clever. The problem was that the tires and rims were a lot bigger than the wheelsets most caliper brakes were built for. I don't know for a fact, but I'm guessing that Weinmann made the caliper brakes for the '54 Jag on special order. So, there weren't many 1954 Jags and conversely there weren't many special Weinmann caliper brakes either. Just my flippin' luck. I need a set.
Below, please find pictures of the exact Weinmann caliper brakes I need. If you can find it in your hearts, please help this worn out old man finish his last project.
