Anybody have a bike that has a "pong"sound ?

Wolfmac your suggestion to disassemble and inspect rear ND hub was spot on discovered a transfer spring whose tension was shot also the little metal tab thickness as well was on the thin side. Ordered a new old stock transfer spring from Cabe ebay store, arrived today what a difference in the hub oiled the discs lightly, greased bearings and light coat interior hub with Fram high heat disc brake & wheel bearing grease ( that grease is excellent takes high heat and NLGI # 2 great for BB and headsets too. thanks again to all who responded mystery noise resolved.
