Presented here for auction is an uncommon, original, Teens Persons long-spring leather saddle. Top measures 10" x 7.25". The chassis features a long yoke with heavy-duty top coils and extension coils, as well as single wire truss construction. The black finish shows some wear, with most of it remaining. The leather is pliable, with two small openings on the underside in the rear (see pic #6) and is worn to an attractive aged brown color. Stitching is hanging in there with some areas that have been reaffixed. The "Persons" flap stampings are fully legible. The saddle top nose features a bit of twist which looks slightly uneven straight-on (see final pic). This saddle hasn't aged as gracefully as some but presents with the perfect mix of wear and patina for any Teens bicycle. This is an uncommon model saddle that doesn't show up very often.
