I'm getting the feeling this thread is running it's course? Oh well. Always something goofy cooking at my place, or recycling old news or junk in some form or another.

Well it’s holiday time for the rich kids at Ravenscourt school ( local in the city/my hood, Fort Garry/albeit I live in a shoe) , so time for a old Fort Garry bum to trespass again and take pictures of a historic rich guys house beside one of my cars. This car is a 1963 Ford Falcon Ranchero with a factory 260 V8 engine auto transmission, standard brakes and steering.A fun, somewhat rare little car. It's been posted here before, but not with this groovy backdrop.

Thompson House was once the total structure of the whole school.
The Thomson House is a historic building located at 400 South Drive, Winnipeg, designed by architect Cyril W. U. Chivers. It was constructed in 1914 for lawyer Robert McDonnell Thomson and was completed in 1931.
The house was later purchased by Ravenscourt School in 1935 and has since been used by St. John's-Ravenscourt School. The house features ornamental detailing and has remained in good structural condition despite being empty for many years.

Bought this old Safe Tire Repair Bowes Seal Fast Service Station curb sign its heavy embossed 2 separate signs in the original stand its their earliest style sign from about 1930-1936 its 20" wide X 32" tall not counting the stand..

This was purchased off eBay a couple of months ago, but i finally had time to unbox and mock it up yesterday. 1936 Colson double bar LWB equipped with 28" high pressure wheelset.

This burgee arrived this week...been keeping an eye out for an original cotton one long time...modern burgees are typically nylon...Bull Dog Bunting was a trademark of Dettra Flag company of Oaks Pennsylvania started in 1902...In case anyone doesn't know Gar Wood...he dominated powerboat racing in the 1920's winning many national titles...He's considered the king of the sport...Link below to a piece I wrote on him few years ago that will explain him..

Partial circa 1887 45" Star high wheel safety:

Circa 1895 Sunol manufactured by The McIntosh-Huntington Co. of Cleveland. Rear wheel came on it but not correct. Front wheel and Dave Brown repo Sager saddle added to make it look more complete:

Circa 1900 Thistle. Looks good from the side but not so good from behind. Frame bent in multiple locations. Otherwise pretty complete:

Finally landed an elusive ‘41 Monark 26X that I had been trying to track down. I would see it on Marketplace, then it would disappear! I set the hook on it yesterday!

Looks like I am going to be fishing for a few parts…!

Parts for the resto on the 26X we did were crazy expensive, and extremely hard to find, like had to pry them out of the hands of a couple collectors lol, but we were doing it for the original owner so was totally worth it to them.

And Atkinson repaired the aluminum frame, and made fender braces for stainless fenders, that are also unique.

Resto took 18 months.
Mary has it still on display in the window of local bike shop in Ottumwa, IA, on the Ragbrai route.

Snagged this CWC All American in original paint from original owner's family. '39/'40ish. Haven't looked at S/N yet.

We have most missing parts, but will be looking for that hen's teeth reflector torpedo light!
