I was looking at Lowes and they have some that look very similar at least on the website. I have yet to see in person. I searched rubber plugs on the site.

I'd like to know too. I have a '39 DX that I'd like to use a springer on, but it doesn't have the stop.

@Nostalgic Dave , have you considered using one of these. There has been some discussion recently about Schwinn dealers upgrading bikes with a springer after they arrived to the dealer from the factory and Schwinn would provide these snap on bumpers. This is second hand information.

I bought several on Amazon that work fine but need to be glued into the hole. Think they were originally made for license plates.
