Withdrawn 1919 Davis project

Offering up this project, everything you see. Actual ship in US48 (pirate ship/ bike flights) or I will deliver free to Carpentersville swap or Memory Lane.

1919 Davis made. Badged “Victory” by the Bostwick Braun Co out of Toledo Ohio. Davis Sewing Machine CO’s back yard!
One of the coolest badges I’ve had- one of a kind territory. I’ll include a couple of original documents from the company dated 1915 and 1919.

No damage or repairs to the frame. The fork needs serious surgery. Headset hardware was also toast.
Crank assembly is complete with correct lettered hardware.
Pedals are in great operating shape, I replaced the blocks.
Front fender brace was on the bike when I found it. Rear brace is a replacement.

I threw some black acrylic on the braces, bars, stem- it will easily clean off.

I’ve had this built up riding with replacement parts and it was a great rider.
It’s an 18” frame for 28” wheels.

I had to replace the fork so I used a truss fork from a 20s Flyer, it was blue and had to be patina matched. This will do until the right Davis fork comes along. I am liking the truss fork look.
Pedals were rough, fender braces, chain. Saddle not usable as is, maybe a leather replacement someday. I do want a black saddle on this bike.
Added the Wald window style stand and universal clip as fill ins until Davis examples are obtained.
Thanks to @Hastings and @MarlinSteve for helping me with some particular bits needed for this rescue.
