Riding my Motorbike
offered here is a 1935 schwinn motorbike tank of metal. this is a reproduction i had made in 1991 to fill a need of less rotted out tanks available at the time. as i was heavy into these early schwinn motorbikes and i would buy every tank i could get my hands on. many were without doors or rotted away-horrible shape. the repairs to these just added to the already soaring prices of the time. a friend visiting from germany offered to have them made there and although what seemed a financial strain paid off as they came out perfect and filled the void of missing tanks others were craving! everyone that got one was delighted as here was a tank that had every detail perfect and was rot free. the same holds true today. every line or detail is exact as an original. it has been claimed that under paint one cannot tell this tank from an original (scary huh?). i do know that some were passed as originals-they are that good. here is your chance to pick one up at a decent price. you won't be dis-appointed. shipping included.
side note-hinge pop-welds redone on a couple-repair is excellent professional job. not noticeable when painted.

New to the forum. Been looking for orig prewar tanks. Your reproduction looks really good. I would like to take a look at one if possible. I am somewhat local. Lmk
