1950? J.C.Higgins on CraigsList

This girls bike popped up on north jersey CraigsList. I searched my copy of Hurd & Gordon and best guess is 1950 "Semi-equipped." Evidence is no tank, funky* rear rack, chain guard, wishbone-style seat stays, and truss rods. What doesn't match is lack of headlight (photos don't show whether the front fender has holes) and paint (catalog says dark green frame with medium green fenders). Looks to be in pretty good shape, including hand grips. Link is below.

Cool ride! Never seen one that color, but sure looks original! Almost the same color as fenders on Western Flyer Supers.
