I live for the CABE
Very much not my usual speed for collecting, but this was the childhood bicycle of both my mother and aunt. Mom had a 26” and my aunt had a 24”, purchased by my great grandparents. I have my mother’s but after spending years in a barn it was really rough and got a local automotive painter’s interpretation of the original paint (when I was around 10, first getting into vintage bikes because of her bike). I’ve always wanted to take it back to the original, and this will be a good pattern, and I can give the bike to my aunt, as she’s gotten back into biking in her 70s.
