1968 schwinn lemon peeler tribute, started out as a Oct. 1976 Schwinn 5 speed sting-ray and added the Krate parts
mostly all original '76 Chicago Schwinn parts.
Very Nice Paint, has been ridden and does have a few nicks and chips, but not very noticeable, Kool colors factory matched paint on chainguard with Kool stuff decal.
Schwinn Approved reproduction Persons metal pan seat, Aftermarket springer, pedals, rear tire, and wald wide handle bars.
Seat shocks, gooseneck, and front wheel and tire from a scotts 1998 anniversary Krate with the drum brake laced in.
Rides Great, shifts through the gears like it should and looks Awesome!
Keep in mind they are selling Taiwan repop coaster bikes for $700.00 and original krates start out around $1500.00 and are often still in need of restoration.
This one has been cleaned, serviced and is ready to enjoy for the summer at almost half the cost!
