Look Ma, No Hands!
Last year I picked up this sweet 49 B6 from Milwaukee area and since then I’ve really been looking forward to the day it would be ready to ride. After being busy for months doing home renovation I finally had some time to wrench on this beauty. It rides real nice now with a Bendix 2 Speed, new tires, wide braced handlebars and the bearings serviced. Next step is recovering the saddle and deciding which material and pattern to go with. I’m still gonna ride it in the meantime.😎

Superb job putting this old gal back on the road! The patina is perfect.
Thank you. I’m also thinking about installing a disc brake bracket (or welding one on) to the front fork and installing a disc brake wheel(after blacking it out to match back wheel)🤔

Go for it! Anything that makes the bike more enjoyable is worth it. There might be brackets/adapters that don't require welding.
