nice whip. go snag it. ser# will tell you the year.. as for model, unless its on the guard.. its a guess.. typhoon, tiger, american, all similar those years.. what are they askin?

If it is a 1980 Typhoon or Cruiser, i think the cruiser used old style sprocket

The frame is electro-forged. Chainguard and chain ring correct for 1980 and the blade fork has no chrome crown. So a 1980 Typhoon with new wheels, paint and bmx bars and stem. There was a similar Typhoon on the Phoenix Craigs list that was listed for $380 and the seller had that bike listed for over 4 freaking years.

Looking for help with 1. identifying serial number 2. Value on this Schwinn Bike. My dad had this for at least 30-40 years in his garage. The box is not in great shape, mouse droppings and chewing. The bike was kept separate and has never been ridden. It was a little dusty and the tubes in the tires are flat. It has 2 extra tires that were never used. I would like to try to sell it but don't know too much about it and the serial number on the bottom of the pedal area is very hard to read. Phone won't take a great photo because of the glossy paint so I used a paper and pencil smudging and can't identify it perfectly. Any help would be appreciated.
