BSA Mk V pedal blocks?

We are restoring a BSA Mk V. The pedals are in good condition but one of them has had the square rods that run through the pedal blocks replaced with 3/16" threaded rod. Might anyone have a set of damaged pedals or blocks from which we can salvage the correct rods. Pedal blocks are labeled John Bull. They are 4 1/2" long and the square rods are 5.1" long. Not sure if these are military specific pedals or identical to civilian models.
