the "chisel" treatment of the stay ends where they join the dropouts is a helpful narrowing clue toward determining maker

you can easily narrow national origin by measuring tube diameters and bottom bracket thread

despite serial ending in "...87" frame is not that late

lug pattern appears to be BOCAMA Competition 76 with cutout number R1

Campag frame ends are model 1010/B

cannot assume that the eight braze-ons expressing are all original
some or all may be add-ons

slightly odd that it expresses these eight braze-ons and no w/b

does not appear to be of anglophone origin

two possible national origins from what can be seen are BE & IT

EDIT:

sent a PM to member @MauriceMoss on this and he reports it is a Batavus Professional from NL

he cites this example

Well spotted by Mr Moss!

About the numbers on the BB shell of the white example:

"4" = last digit of the build year (in this case 1984)
"54" = frame size (center-to-top)
"6798" = serial number

A very nice pro level frame. These could be had with Columbus SL as well as Reynolds 531.

Maurice writes he does not know the meaning of the H marking.

My speculation is that it could be an identification of a specific builder or of a quality control person.
