'Lil Knee Scuffer
Howdy, I've had this bike for quite a few years and it holds some sentimental value but I'm finally deciding to part ways with it. I've been trying to do some research on this specific model but I can't seem to find a Coast King that looks like this one- looks like the Cutlass but the chainguard is the biggest difference. I also didn't see a serial number upon a light inspection. If you have any info on this thing it would be much appreciated!

The coast king as mentioned was made by Huffy for the coast to coast stores. The only ones that I’ve seen look like the one you have. It looks like the cutlass is the same bike with just a different name on the chain guard. That could be a yearly thing or maybe an area/state thing. They had different names over the years along with different suppliers. I believe Ross also supplied some of their bikes.

Looks like Huffy made coast king.
Serial should be nondrive side maybe obscured hardware. First digit should be a number signifying year of decade, 2nd is H for Huffy eg if 1960s 1H =1961, 2H 1962 etc
Here's what I found. Looks like 1964! Thanks for the info. Not sure if there's anywhere to look up info based on a specific serial number, but your tip is the clearest info I've gotten yet.
