Barnegatbicycles

Wore out three sets of tires already!
Today I started working on making some Columbia chainless parts. I will be making some axles, rear gear adjusters and nuts for the adjusters for different model Columbias. The adjusters and lock nuts for 98 -02 are the same but the design changed slightly in 03. I am making some of both styles for my personal projects and figured I would offer making some to anybody who needs these parts. If you are interested shoot me a private message and we can go from there.

Finished up making a jig for the next pieces I will be making. The piece that mounts on it is the brake actuator out of a 2 speed Columbia chainless hub.

This jig will go into a dividing head on my milling machine and allow me to mill the ramped slots on the parts consistently from piece to piece while only having to remember the 4 different positions the slots are at. Without it I'd have to spend a bunch of time aligning and doing math everytime I wanted to machine another one.
