With the values of these bikes teetering in the down direction, not too far in the future to tank (pun intended) A tank that could have possibly gone for a relative song will now most likely end up changing the economy within a Chicago suburb.
Ain't old bike tanks grand? (3 to 5 grand that is)
In the Navy it was termed "loose lips sink ships."
In Seattle, I had my own business so since I was not much more than a baby sitter I got on all the Estate sale companies email list. All you had to have was a tax number. The same thing that all the dealers in town did.
Wholesale day was Thursdays, dealers only. Friday and Saturday were public free for all and Sunday was discount day.
I went to estate sales all day Thursday and bought all the vintage electronics and LPs I wanted.
I scored heavily every week.
Part of the deal was... Shhhhhhhh.
The people that came on the open days never knew what they missed. They missed a lot.
So.... Will that tank even be there?
