Ebay Sale and subsequent delivery via USHIP Nightmare.... Anyone experience this?

Regardless of shipping be mindful that the driver found your honeyhole. You might want to alert you buddy and add a motion light or something.
Also in most cases eBay helps the buyer unfortunately. Sometimes it works out for both.

I insured the shipment through Uship. They’re working through on this.
We had to file a police report for insurance purposes

I screwed up, not insuring it for the full max value, but close enough figuring nothing could happen anyway, with such a good track record so far with Uship drivers

When booking this guy Uship showed 100% which is what I looked at and thus determined I would go with them

Turns out the hundred percent doesn’t mean Jack really you have to read the reviews which I did not and this person had a lot of cancellations, but still five stars despite the cancellations only a small handful of bad reviews from the cancellations

Will definitely be more thorough Researching these delivery folks on the next one.

Ebay will just pull the funds from your bank account. If you go in the Red they don't care one bit.

I had my red Phantom on ebay for over 6 months. had like 2500 lookers and around 50 watchers. pickup only. FINALLY sold it to a guy who knows a guy who shipped it to him. I don't think I'd ever ship a bike with a payment that they can get back for whatever reason they dream up.

Uship has been a good source for me...
Decent reliable drivers bidding on runs around the US

Also recipient/buyer was legit... good solid dude...and so far VERY patient with this whole ordeal
+ Ebay will cover him regardless

This particular guy had 100% rating...but my screw up not reading the reviews...
Alot of cancels... but still 5 stars despite that...
but relatively new driver.

I checked their profile on Uship the other night... the most recent review...and around the time
the driver picked up our bike, said the following. Driver picked up 2200.00 paddleboard...
and vanished. Never delivered. They also got burned.
At that time, 2 days ago...their profile was STILL UP? Should have been banned!
Their rating dropped from the 100 to 80 in the short period of time ...
Paddle board theft was same time window as our pick up.
Full on Criminal...
Still working through on the insurance sitch

My bone head friend who met the driver back east and loaded the bike DID NOT get anything in writing at time of PU
NOR did he take pix of the bike IN the vehicle and the license plate. I always do this.

Remember these steps.

I'm not blacklisting Uship...there are good people on Uship doing this stuff with years of feedback...go with the
longevity people...and cover your @ss!
