New Mexico Brant
I'm the Wiz, and nobody beats me!
This bike is a stunner! In the rare robin's egg blue with red darts and gold stripes, a G.W. Grady, New England, Worcester, MA bicycle built by Shelby, Ohio. Circa 1923-24. Fabulous original paint that has been lightly cleaned; this could be detailed/cleaned more if one wants a brighter presentation but I love the patina. Strong brightwork, with great original red block pedals, matched Gillette Ambassador single tube tires (for display), lovely wood rims, and a New Departure rear coaster hub. The bicycle has a Persons Majestic built saddle that has a top embossed "Red Wing" which was another of Grady's bicycle marques (missing the front nose adjuster). Overall the bicycle is in great condition with normal wear, scratches, paint losses, light rust, plating losses, cracks to grips, and crazing on tires, as one would expect. It is so uncommon to see an early 1920's bicycle present this well. Please PM to purchase.
