I’ve had great luck with marketplace. Every nice keeper I have came from there at smoking prices. I buy random parts off of bikes that people have listed all the time. they send the part every time. I even sent this guy $60 cash for a batwing light as he said only cash and send it with a label so I can hand it to my mailman and it’s yours. Pretty good deals show up every week.. and most people are happy to do business.Knock on wood. I check it every day at least ten times as it only takes thirty seconds to check. I’m not in any groups I think that’s where the trouble hangs out. I’m new to facebook just signed up recently to do marketplace. the news feed seems like just people preaching about politics it’s kinda sad. A lot of bike people friended me so I get a lot of bike stuff to balance out the negative.

Thank Jesus fb has banned my ip address for sharing the truth about 'vaccines'.. nonetheless people I sell to on the bmx museum report getting scammed there. No accountability or feedback helps scammers and misinformation thrive on that site.. so I hear..

Facebook Market Place is a whole different platform. You have to be visible unlike the sellers in a Private Group that are hiding behind the Wizard of OZ's curtain punching the keys. Dealing in person is the only way to go. On marketplace, you can still deal with somebody out of state and you’ll have to send money if they ship. Then you’re at risk if they want cash upfront and paid with a method that is a direct cash transfer.

Exactly - they turn up in the group discussion pages claiming to have something you need, or moving out and discount selling stuff, etc. They always seem to have a cover story. Marketplace is a separate area.
