Cruisin' on my Bluebird
Across France in Wartime by Kuklos a.k.a. W. Fitzwater Wray. Published by J.M. Dent and Sons, London, England 1916. 182pgs. Hardcover w/dust jacket. This is Wray's story of travelling through France during World War l on his bicycle as a reporter. He was often thought to be a spy and was almost shot. Lots of nice illustrations throughout. It's a great read.
Jacket is missing bits in a few places. I covered it with an archival mylar cover. There is a red cloth bookmark that was attached to the binding but has come loose. On pages 44, 45, 60, 61, 148 and 149 there is a stain from a piece of paper, probably a bookmark. You can still make out the print through the stains. Other than that it is in nice shape and very hard to find. Asking $100. shipped to CONUS. PM me if interested. Thanks.
