I apologize if I sounded condescending, that wasn't my intent. Bent forks are common on these old bikes, I have several that I need to fix. This one for starters:This is a great site and I enjoy sharing information about bicycles as long as itās value added. Whatās up with all the condescending remarks and insults though? Not just this thread but seems to be a common theme in here. Itās too bad.

3 Speed Balloon tire Rollfast? | Classic Balloon Tire Bicycles 1933-1965
I bought this today from a man in his 80's who'd had it since he was a kid growing up in Ohio. The front fork is bent and if there are any decals, they're hiding under that house paint, so not a pristine example. But at least it's an example. Hub dated December 1953. Thanks. I may have taken text out of context as I often do. I wonder if I can bend them back at the stem without having to heat/repaint.I apologize if I sounded condescending, that wasn't my intent. Bent forks are common on these old bikes, I have several that I need to fix. This one for starters:

I just picked up a Rollfast guys bike frame just like the one you have. Very COOOL paint jobs on these. Great colors all PYSCHED out all over the place. Happy 419 Bike Day.HAPPY 419 EVERYBODY!!! HAPPY BICYCLE DAY!!! Today I fittingly unveil āThe Cycledelicsā!!! Wait⦠what? 419? Bicycle Day? Psychedelics? Gee Sam⦠whatās this all about?!?
I thought youād never askā¦.
On April 19, 1943 Swiss chemist Albert Hoffman took a colorful six mile bike ride home from his lab after ingesting 250 micrograms of lysergic acid diethylamide that he had synthesized (aka LSD-25). This was the first documented and first āintentionalā LSD trip. Bicycle Day was created in 1985 to commemorate the event. My Cycledelics celebrate Bicycle Day with a psychedelic paint scheme along with images of cultural icons such as Albert Hoffman, Ken Kesey, Timothy Leary, and San Franciscoās ābig fourā psychedelic rock bands (Dead, Airplane, Big Brother, and Quicksilver). The menās is a 1960ās Rollfast⦠the womenās is what I believe to be a 1952 Huffy. Ironically, according to Hoffmanās notes, he took the dosage on April 19 at precisely 4:20pm!!
