I need help identifying this old Kent Super bicycle. It has two sets of numbers that I could find on the bike but can’t find anywhere else. The numbers are 4621101 and 682685.
Actually the word isn’t Kent but it says super under the word starting with a K. It’s been modified by a new seat by Schwinn and a funny little golf ball on the kickstand. I think is cute. It was given to me by a friend still rides good I just want to know what it is
1960’s Murray built bike, and the 4621xxx (or 4821xxx?) is most likely the model number and looks like a Sears (?).
Actually, the coaster brake hub is an import product “Komet” — (not the cleanser).
Tires look like the cool CST “Tread-Alert, Tread-Alert, Tread-Alert” 26 x 1.9” wide product; kind of stiff, smooth threads, and functional.
It’s a girl’s bike, but a neat fix (golf ball?) for the kick stand.

Model 4621 is shown in the 1965 Sears Spring and Summer catalog as a "Fully equipped middleweight with lots of chrome." I'm betting that if you look at the rear dropout where you found the serial number, there will be a 502 on the left side of the axle, or it may be covered by the axle washer. 502 is the ID number that Murray assigned to bikes they built for Sears.
The chain ring on the top bike in the preceding picture looks like one on my Cleland Welding Roadmaster. Can you post a better picture of the decal on the seat post?
