Identifying bike

Looking to identify this bike. Had it posted in a Facebook forum and was told by some it was junk. One gentleman said it might be a pig bike. It come out an estate sale true barn find.

chainwheel indicates CCM (Canada)

forum has plenty of members who enjoy working with CCM products

definitely not junque/valueless

alloy stem looks like it could be Scheeren (Germany)
other makers produced stems of this pattern also

forum's CCM enthusiasts shall be along shortly with more & better information for you..

Since everyone was so helpful. Here are the two other bikes I got at the same time. I am also wondering what I could expect to get if I sold in current barn condition. They seem to be working condition and both look like paint and seats are in good condition. Thanks again

ALLPRO is a house brand for the Kmart chainstores

While kinda cool, these bikes don't have much value.
It's a shame because they're old & cool but not desirable to most bicycle collectors.

Welcome to the CABE! Uneducated feedback like you received is why I always steer people here. That is not junk, it’s a Canadian muscle bike. A “pig bike” is a newer term by the muscle bike crowd to describe a middleweight or a balloon tire bike that had a set of apes and a banana seat added. 20” wheels and matching fenders is a giveaway this bike is original.

The Allpro bike may have some value, though very little. Someone may want it for parts. Allpro was K-Mart brand, they had different companies build bikes for them. That looks like a Ross. To a bicycle collector, maybe $50 as is.

Note: Outside of hardcore bicycle collectors, vintage Dept Store stuff is HOT with Gen X and Millenial collectors. Radio Shack, K-Mart, Toys R Us, all those stores that defined the 70’s through the early 00’s that are now gone. What hurts it is that it’s a girls muscle bike. If that were an Allpro BMX style bike, you’d have something much more collectible.

The adult women’s bike is another CCM (Canadian) bike but is virtually worthless as a bike. You could add a flower basket though and sell it as a garden bike for $50.
