Love it. It isn't easy making a bike whole and at the same time make it look as if it has been this way all the time. People get tempted with replacing parts with newer looking parts that throw the bike off. Those tiller bars are killer! Looks like all you need now is the air pump. Did you put oil on the finish of the bike? It looks wet.

Hello, thank you for your comments and observations! I know exactly what you mean regarding installing new parts with old- I especially notice it with new fasteners and screws where that is the case- drives me nuts! Regarding oil on the finish- there is actually no oil or clear coat on the bicycle as a whole. The old paint, I presume was a gloss originally when applied, but over time the paint crystallized and crackled, and it formed a highly textured finish where its still glossy in between the crackles, and matte on the flat areas. This is why it may have the appearance of having moisture on it. The toolbox, since it is new paint, had the solvent boiled out with a heat gun while the paint was still wet, to create texture, then with a coat of wood stain applied over it and allowed to settle, and then with a thin cloat of clear enamel to seal in the wood stain and decals to water proof the finish
