It may have been an original pan at one point but it has the side rivets I mentioned, so 71 or newer pan. It's been redone, the old Permaco 918 decals were Pete's calling card, but you can buy them now on Ebay so who knows. It's been redone with 68 colors, not 69 and the cover is too white, should be a silver sparkle color with the orange stripe in 68. You need an orange seat with the white stripe for 69.

Seat in the middle is what you need

thats a nice seat, cover is a 68, like @indycycling the one in the middle is correct also that pan is 71 or newer

wrong seat pan for a 1968 orange krate seat . that being said it's also a recover
