So... for the veterans of attending ML, I have some questions for newbies that have never attended such as myself. A few of us from California might be attending this year. All suggestions appreciated. Maybe I should start this in a new separate thread?

What is the best airport to fly into?

Rental car places?

Shipping stores nearby such as FedEx or UPS?

Where are some great places to stay hotel wise nearby?

Food spots or any other nearby locations that are a must see? Local watering holes? Even non bike related places. Historical spots, etc.
My store is in Detroit , 45 minutes north of the show . If buying bikes you are
welcome to come to it and pack your bikes up & ship from there.
Detroit Metro OR Toledo may be closer to fly in & out of.
Personally Id get a hotel / Motel 1/2 way between Bowling Green (Memory Lane show) & Monroe Show.
Many of go out to eat many nights so Let Us Know.
Ask Bob & Gary , I know the good places to eat !

I don't see where it says the hours on the flier. Anybody know?
And, if you could only come for one or two days - would you hit it at the beginning or the end?
First-timer for the Bowling Green event. Thanks

Hours are when you get there til you leave! I’d be there no later than sun-up Weds and do Thursday. Friday most are packing to head to Monroe which you should do as well
Thank you. We are definitely planning on Monroe ... I will plan for Wednesday ... seems like Friday could be a better "bargain finding" day for those who don't want to pack up? So, is Monroe mostly the leftover pickings from Memory Lane?

Seems funny( and a bit counter productive to book out Friday, especially early in the day.

Not all of us have a schedule which allows us to take off mid week to travel.

With Monroe following on the heels of ML, and so close a drive.
A Thursday drive and Friday swap to get to ML.
Saturday relocation to Michigan and set up (and a huge pinball expo in Ann Arbor)
Sunday Monroe.

Could it be that ML is one day to long?

When AA/Monroe changed to let vendors in Sat it killed the last day of MLC which used to be Sat. I wish Copake would go back to having their auction the week before MLC/Monroe. This was great because you would have the guys leaving New York coming straight to MLC with lots of stuff which fed both MLC/AA. Monroe isn't just MLC leftovers. You get a whole new crowd along with many of the MLC folks. Many consider the Monroe venue a huge improvement over the AA facilities. Looking forward to seeing everyone there.

Agreed. For a guy from Minnesota, all of these are pretty long drives.
It was a fun week when all coordinated their timing.
