Here's a pic of my 36's mounted on the Iver Johnson. I had the tires inflated when I sprayed them and let dry for several weeks. Then deflated to install. There are some small areas where the flex-seal seamed to separate but not really noticeable. I suppose all the stretching and rolling onto the rim may have caused that. In hindsight maybe some adhesion promoter would have been a good idea. The white flex-seal is way too white so for some yellowing effect I used some nutmeg color spray paint used for wicker furniture sitting in the spray paint collection lol! Not quite happy with the patina yet... Working next on the valve stem tubes as mentioned in an earlier post.

Yeah man, my flex seal specials are on their second bike, and have a few miles and time on them....hanging in good at 50psi. riding pressure.

My first pair of Challenger "Getaway" 40 tires worked great! Thanks for all the tips here, including the flex seal! My "Crown" is ready to ride and break in the tires!

I just picked up a pair of red steel tubular wheels to flip...but I may have to hang onto them just so I can try and Flex Seal a set of those Getaway Gravel tires. I'm starting to like the looks of those.

I sure like the idea of trying things on "cheap" tires to get old bikes rolling.
The red just works, and what an awesome frame....don't see many that cool..deserves to be ridden.

I went with @Rusty McNickel 's patented valve stem and made some cool ones!
