Hope you get it! Those are really sweet bikes. Should have full a full Deore XT Deerhead group, Tourney XT crank, Suntour XC II pedals, SR MTE-100? quick release post with the crazy amount of fore/aft adjustment.

Ok, so it was a Mt St Helen, with all 83 parts on it.

You can probably tell from this picture that the headtube wasn't even a full lug, the front part of it was pressed or embossed somehow, just for the "look."
What completely surprised me when I showed up to look at the bike was the Ukai 2.125" wide rims!

Nice score! Same rims as the King Sting and '82 Sidewinder. Original tires too. That is an Allentown frame - the lugs are nearly identical to my '77 Ross Gran Eurosport, as are the cable guides. Is there a serial number on the left rear dropout? First four digits will give you the month/year

I wasn't aware enough at the time to take a picture of the other drop out. Only clipped a pic of the right side.

The 83 dated parts were all I was worried about.

Pretty sure those frames are hi-ten steel.

That website has been up for years. It's nicely done with the vintage ads, but the "Bikes" link still says their new line is currently in production and will be available soon.
