Look Ma, No Hands!
These are nearly new (worn three times) modern road shoes with a vintage look. They are made in Italy for Steel Vintage Bikes in Berlin. I bought these to use (I hope) in a future Eroica ride. I used them just enough to realize that they are a little too large. They are in perfect condition, and will come in their original box. I ordered another pair in the next size down. They recommend sizing up from your normal casual shoe size, but that didn't work out for me. I normally wear a 42.5, and their 42 fits me. Below is the description from SVB's site. They incorporate the modern 3-bolt cleat pattern, and so can be used with any modern road bike clipless pedal cleat (Look, Shimano SPD-SL, Time, etc.). You can also get slotted cleats that mount to two of the three holes for use with toe clips if you want to go full-on retro when riding your vintage bike. This is especially helpful for bikes with French-threaded cranks, as you can't find modern pedals to fit them. SVB and a few other places carry the cleats.
These shoes are the finest handmade leather old-world craftmanship with soles that are nice and stiff. They feel very, very nice on your feet. These shoes are currently selling new on SVB's website for 189 euros, or $214. I will sell these for $150 + shipping.
