Cafaro

On Training Wheels
My dad, Patric C. Cafaro, passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 29, 2026.

Our family is grieving, but we are grateful for the love, prayers, and kindness we have already received.

His obituary and service details can be found here:

If you knew my dad and would like to share a memory, please scroll to the bottom of the obituary page, where there is a Guest Book for messages and remembrances.

I am very sorry to hear this. Patric was a great valued member here and I owe a lot of knowledge his way to pay forward. Enjoyed doing business with him, the old school way...I got to make him very happy once by dealing him a rare plunger horn. Good memory. He has already been missed. Rest in peace brother Patric.

Uggh!
I just came in from trimming a tree out front, so I sat down to have some lunch, and what else?
Scroll the Cabe of course!
So, it is with a heavy heart this time around, as seeing that Patric/Hoofarted has passed away, is a shock to say the least.
Although I never got to meet him personally, he seemed like one of those guys who would always be around to inject a little humor into the conversation.
His wit and quirky charm is going to be sorely missed around here.
Of course he was my go to guy for all things Huffman, and was a wealth of knowledge in all things Ohio.
When I got my 1918 Huffman/Davis made Harley Davidson bicycle, Patric was the first person I reached out to.
I was concerned because it had a three window drop stand instead of the four window type seen in the catalog.
His reply was classic Patric.
“Hey, at least you’ve got a Davis drop stand, and besides, none of us were there when that bicycle was assembled, so how can it be wrong?”
I never gave that inconsistency another thought after that.
Thank you, Patric!
Rest assured, you will live on amongst all the Cabe members you’ve helped along all these years.
❤️
