Picked up a Huffy Eldorado

On of the first bikes I tried to build was a Huffy 26” with half of a tank. I sanded it down and got it painted in a color shift paint. I had a guy I knew who ran did car restoration clear coat it while I was waiting I found some parts for it. Fenders, rear rack, chain guard and so on. I lost contact with the guy. That was 12 years ago.
I found this on Facebook marketplace and picked it up yesterday. Spent the day swapping some parts and replacing things. I replaced the rear wheel with a Strurmy-Archer single speed wheel because I really didn’t want to rebuild the Bendex in the Kansas heat.
Took it for a spin today. Pretty happy with it.

True.
I found other bikes and pretty much forgot about it until I saw one for sale. During that time I got away from trying to restore or repaint and really got into original paint.
