Popeye the Sailor Man

These hubs are works of art and to think they were offered on "Chain-store bikes", sold by Sears. Compared to the stamped steel hubs offered today, these hubs had to be machined. The plating on the rear hubs was excellent. They were built to last, and are my favorite.

It's all cleaned up. I've got it sitting in my lacing jig. The axle is in a hole in plywood, while the rim is elevated to center with paperback books. I've laced up some stainless spokes from a 27" rim. I'll tear it apart today and run down to the bike shop to cut to length and roll the threads.
Can anyone show a photo of the period correct front hub to match? I've seen a couple that are finned, but nothing that has the hump detail.
Thanks. Merci. Danke. Gracias. благодаря.
