Prewar Chrome Schwinn 6 hole Racks

I always thought a tall frame rear carrier used longer legs than a standard. Silly me! As you can see, the rack tops are different but the legs are the same.. The tall frame uses the one on the right.

So is that tall frame top same as a standard post war rack top ? This is good info !

Frank, no. The tall frame top is only for the tall (large frame) bike. The postwar standard rack is like the prewar standard but slightly wider at the neck.
