Prewar - postwar?

i may use this on a parts bike autocycle - If it is old enough - if I don't bottom out springs at 215 pounds / If I can lock it to Schwinn seatpost .I like aerodynamics + lots of silver paint already on bike ! My bicycle collection already wearing ringed troxel, long spring messinger,prewar slide rail.
