Yeah, definitely not a prewar bike with that ##CW stamp. 54 is right and stem probably is too.

heres my 53.. last 2 pics as found.
some early 53's were made by CWC.. the later by AMF.
mine has/had a CWC decal on the seat tube.
54 was AMF built..
dont let people rag on it.. AMF made everything from bowling alleys to nuclear reactors!
