I'm selling this for a friend. I don't know alot about vintage tether cars other than what I've read in the net. Lots of info out there. If you have any questions please ask and I will answer the best I can.
Rare pre-war Dooling Mercury tether car. Made in Los Angeles,CA. This is the more desirable rear drive model. Cast aluminum body. 60cc Hornet engine. Original Dooling Bros. tires. It measures approx. 19" long. Fairly complete. Missing engine hood and belly pan. The piston moves freely but the engine hasn't run for some time and there are some pieces missing. Tires show wear from sitting. No cracks or breaks on body. All in all a really nice example of an early midget racer. Asking $1750. shipped to CONUS. PM me if interested.
