Riding a '38 Autocycle Deluxe
It's that time again,.... for the Rolling Relics San Francisco ride. July 25th. Meet up at 10am, leave by 11am. I've been hosting this ride for 15 years. It seems like just yesterday when I was doing the test ride on my Jaf/Co Hiawatha Arrow back in 2011 trying to plan the path, the lunch stop, and wondering if I was crazy to do a ride in a very busy tourist town. But here we are, 15 years later. I have to say that this ride attracts the best of the best bikes that get ridden, not hidden.

So with that being said, this year we have a hiccup. The S.F. Giants are playing a home game at 1:05pm against the Angels. Our parking lot is going to gouge the hell out of us im sure no matter what time we arrive.... so... I have a suggestion for those that don't want to get screwed on parking. Some of the riders park in the Marina FOR FREE ALL DAY but I'd suggest you get there early regardless because its first come first serve. Its a big lot but still.... get there early. I'm not changing our meeting spot and will be there at Red's Java no matter what. So... you guys would have to head my way as the other guys do. The positive is, after the G.G. bridge, you have a much shorter ride to get back to your car. The parking lot is across the street from the Palace of Fine arts right in the waters edge there. We pass by it on the ride both ways.

Anyways... you've been warned about parking. I apologize but it is what it is unfortunately and out of my control at this point. I'm tired of typing so enjoy some photos of past years rides and remember, we ride again on Sunday at Menke Park. The theme... if you have one, is ride a Klunker, old mountain bike, or an old bmx bike. Or any other vintage bike of your choice. See you crazy kids in another week. So get your bikes ready.
