But why are we vulnerable? We are greedy. We are selfish. We are prideful. We are covetous. We are spoiled. We want what we want when we want it.

Remember, Momma taught us to never take candy from strangers. We must be more mature, less childlike.

Face-to-face sales! If you can't do face-to-face purchases, you're deliberately putting your own neck in a noose. Paypal Goods and Services is the only viable alternative.

In order to be scammed, you must first buy into the scam. It's not the scammer's fault you are gullible.

Good advice! There are PSA's on trading safely in the classified forums, as well as in the "Forum Issues" section. People have to want to read them, though.

I understand that. Has anyone tried to get info from the phone number? All I can get is low chance of scam, but I'm not signed up on any phone number lookup site.

The strange part is immediately after I received the text, a FaceTime call came in....I didn't recognize the number but noticed it was the same as the text so I hung up and blocked the number. I'm very friendly and socialable but on the inside my OCD is on high alert and I"m noticing details and questioning everything.....I might have some issues....
